Modifying the Dashboard Tiles

While there are a lot of default tiles that provide links to various parts of the application, you ahve the ability to customize the default dashboard with links to parts of the application that are important to you. To begin the modification process, navigate to the dashboard page and click on the Modify Tile Layout button.

Once the dashboard is in edit mode, you are able to remove any tiles from this view. To remove a tile, click on the X in the top left corner of the individual tile. When you are done removing tiles, click on the Save Tile Layout button.

When you are in "edit mode" for the dashboard tiles, you can add a new tile by click on a new tile that appears in edit mode labeled Add a New Tile: 

In the pop-up window, enter the following details:

1. Title:  Text that will be displayed below the icon of the tile.
2. URL:  Enter the full url of the web page you want to store. (make sure to include https://)
3. Icon:  Select the icon that will appear on the tile.
4. New Window:  Check this box if you want the tile to open in a new window/tab.
5. System Tile:  Add in any pre-made system tile that may have been previously deleted.
6. Click the Save button.

Once the new tile is added, you should see it in the list of tiles on the dashboard. However, you still need to save this new dashboard layout. Click on the Save Tile Layout button in the top right to lock the tiles in place.
